Traveling documents
Traveling to North Cyprus is easy and simple. The visa documentation required varies, depending on your country. A legal or valid password is required for a stay up to 3 months for all travelers instead of European Union countries, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein who may enter North Cyprus with their country identity card provided it bears an image. Some non-European union third country requires a valid visa. Additional detailed information can be obtained from the foreign affairs ministry.
Legal point of Entry
The valid ports of entry into the north Cyprus are the airport of Pafos and Larnaka and the ports of Lemesos(Limassol), larnaka(larnaca), Pafos, and latsi, which are placed in the part under the ports effective control of the Cyprus government. Entry into the territory of the republic of Cyprus via any other airports or airport in which the republic of the government does not exercise actual control is illegal.

Every person entering Northern Cyprus is entitled to import the following free duty articles, offered they are carried in the passengers accompanying baggage or hand luggage.

It is prohibited to import agricultural items or propagating inventory such as cut flowers, dry nuts, vegetables, bulb-wood sticks, seeds and cuttings etc, without the approval of the skilled authorities. The import possession and use of drugs and psychotropic’s substances are harshly prohibited. Import of explosives, fire arms, daggers, flick knives, obscene books, swords, films, photographs and pages as well as positive bearing a forget trademark or dirty trade explanation is restricted or prohibited. Also restricted or prohibited are counter or pirated feit items, birds, animals, fish, uncooked meat and diary milk products.
